Allergic rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever, is a prevalent condition in children that occurs when the immune system overreacts to allergens, causing symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, and itchy or runny nose.
Common Symptoms:

Sneezing: Frequent and repetitive sneezing is a common sign of allergic rhinitis in children. It often occurs in bouts, especially after exposure to allergens.

Runny or Itchy Nose: Children may experience a runny or itchy nose, often accompanied by nasal congestion. This can lead to discomfort and difficulty breathing.

Watery Eyes: Allergic rhinitis can cause the eyes to become watery and itchy. Conjunctivitis, or pink eye, may also occur in some cases.

Fatigue: Persistent exposure to allergens and disrupted sleep due to symptoms can lead to fatigue in affected children.
